Wedding and Event specialist, Matchmaker, Organizer of all things, Wife, and Momma.
Sara grew up playing outside in a tiny town in Ohio. Her parents led small group leadership trips across the country and she tagged along, learning about travel, groups, and the importance of nature from a very young age.
She went on to study Sociology & Human services, Spanish, and became a licensed EMT. She also spent time working at Adaptive Sports with disabled veterans, where she got a first hand view of how movement and adventure can release and heal trauma.
Relationships have always fascinated her, so it was a great fit when she spent over a decade in weddings & special events. She also worked as a matchmaker and had the experience of connecting with people as they dreamed up their perfect match.
As covid changed many things, Sara started a small outdoor school for her daughter. Seeing the benefits of being immersed in nature and play, she realized again how important this is for everyone. She went on to study nature based therapy through the Somatic Wilderness Therapy Institute, where she recognized her passion was to work with couples in an outdoor setting, based around "play" and "movement" as forms of therapy.
